Halloween, yoga and art
A Week of Creativity and Well-Being
Hello, art enthusiasts and well-being enthusiasts alike!
I hope you've had an amazing week. For me, it's been a week filled with art, celebrations, and a focus on health. Let me share some highlights.
First and foremost, I've continued working on my mini paintings for the upcoming Christmas markets. Creating art that will hopefully bring joy during the holiday season is truly one of the most rewarding aspects of my life as an artist. Here's a picture of a round painting I'm working on:
Of course, we've also celebrated Halloween and All Saints' Day. Combining tradition and art is always an exciting experience. I hope you've had the chance to enjoy these holidays in your own way.
Another exciting event this week was the creation of a new reference painting in Pixelmator. My daughter Ida posed as a model for the mirror image, and the first layer of the painting looks promising:
On Saturday, I started the day with a themed event at Massage and Aloe Vera in Vargön. Yoga and postural training were on the agenda, and it truly was a lovely morning filled with insights into how sedentary work in front of the computer affects our posture. Small adjustments and activities for the hip flexors turned out to be the key to a pain-free body. I highly recommend Yogaform Väst, Elisabeth Johansson, for yoga, and Massage and Aloe Vera, Marie Örnroth, for postural training.
It's amazing how art and well-being can be woven together to create an enriching week. I look forward to hearing about your own experiences and creative adventures.
Best regards, Nina
